Privacy Policy
Effective August 18, 2026 · Version 2026-08-18
TourSense is built by a working buyer's agent, and this policy is written the way we'd want a vendor to write one for us: plainly, and matching what the product actually does.
Who we are
TourSense is operated by TourSense LLC, a Maryland limited liability company. For anything in this policy, contact support@gettoursense.com.
This policy covers the TourSense iOS app and the gettoursense.com website.
This website
This site uses Plausible Analytics, a privacy-focused service that uses no cookies and collects no personal information. We see aggregate numbers like page views and which buttons were clicked, never who you are. The site sets no cookies. If you give us your name and email to be notified when TourSense opens, that goes to Netlify, who host this site, and we use it for one thing: to tell you when the app is available. We won't sell it, share it, or add you to anything else, and you can ask us to delete it at any time. When you email us, we receive what any email recipient receives.
What the app stores
Your account is an email address and password. Beyond that, the app stores what you put into it: the buyers you add, the showings you log, and the voice recaps you speak. Because of what agents naturally say in a recap, that includes client names, property addresses, reactions, and financial details like budgets or financing types.
Voice recordings
Your voice is transcribed in the moment using Apple's speech recognition. TourSense never stores audio. Only the text transcript is kept, along with the written summary built from it.
Where your data lives
Your data lives on your device and backs up to your own account on our US-hosted database, run for us by Supabase, so nothing is lost if you change phones. Each account's data is isolated from every other account. Like any service with a backup layer, our operator can access stored data for support and debugging; we do that only when needed to help you or fix a problem.
Services we use
TourSense runs on a small number of outside services, and these are all of them: Supabase hosts your account and the backup of your data; Anthropic's Claude API turns your recap into a summary, described below; Apple's speech recognition turns your voice into text on your own phone; Netlify hosts this website and receives anything you send through the form on it; Stripe processes payments; and Plausible measures traffic on this website only, never inside the app. Each of these handles data only to provide TourSense. None of them receive your data or your clients' data for their own purposes, and we never sell it. Services you connect yourself, like your CRM or your showing calendar, are covered in their own sections below. If TourSense is ever acquired or reorganized, your data would move with the business, and this policy would keep applying until it changes under the Changes section below.
How summaries are made
This happens with your permission, which TourSense asks for when you first set up the app and before it ever sends anything. With permission, the text of your recap is sent to Anthropic's Claude API to build a summary and a buyer profile. Because of what agents naturally say in a recap, that text can include client names, property addresses, reactions, and financial details like budgets or financing types. Your audio is never sent, only the text. Under Anthropic's commercial terms, that text is not used to train their models, and Anthropic deletes inputs and outputs within 30 days. TourSense does not use your data or your clients' data to train any model.
Usage analytics
The app records anonymized usage events, like the fact that a recap was captured or that processing failed, so we can find and fix problems. These events carry no names, addresses, transcript content, or dollar amounts, and the device identifier is hashed before it ever leaves your phone.
Separately from those events, we may use information about how TourSense is used in a de-identified and aggregated form that doesn't identify you, your clients, or any individual property, to understand and improve the service and to develop new features. We won't try to re-identify it and we won't sell it.
Calendar connections
You can paste a showing calendar link into Settings. TourSense currently works with ShowingTime, and reads that calendar so your upcoming showings appear without typing them in. Those entries usually carry the property address and often your client's name, and they are stored the same way as anything else you add. TourSense only reads that calendar and never writes to it. You can remove the link in Settings at any time, which stops TourSense from reading it.
CRM connections
If you connect your CRM (currently Follow Up Boss), TourSense writes a showing note to the matched contact, containing the property, your client's reaction, and the summary. The full transcript stays in TourSense and is not written to your CRM. Notes live in your CRM under your CRM account's rules. If you disconnect or cancel TourSense, notes already written remain in your CRM; we don't reach in and remove your records.
Removing a note from your CRM only happens when you ask for it. Two actions do that, both of them yours: deleting a showing in TourSense also removes that showing's note, and unlinking a buyer from a contact offers you the choice to remove the notes TourSense added, which is there for the case where a buyer was linked to the wrong contact. Unlinking keeps those notes unless you choose otherwise. TourSense only ever removes notes it wrote itself.
Payments
When paid plans launch, payments will be processed by Stripe. Card details go to Stripe directly; TourSense never sees or stores them.
Your clients' information
The information you record about your clients belongs to your professional relationship with them. You're responsible for meeting your own obligations to your clients regarding the information you choose to record, the same as with notes in any CRM or notebook.
Keeping and deleting data
We keep your data until you delete it. Ending a subscription doesn't delete anything: if you cancel or your subscription lapses, your buyers, showings, and profiles stay in your account. To delete your account and the data backed up to it, use Delete Account in the app's Settings, which takes effect right away. If you can't sign in, email support@gettoursense.com from your account email and we'll complete it within 30 days. Deletion covers your TourSense data; notes already written to your CRM stay in your CRM, and anonymized usage events, which identify no one, may be retained.
Changes
If our practices change, this page changes with them, and both the effective date and the version above are updated. If a change meaningfully affects how your data is handled, we'll notify active accounts by email and ask you to accept the new version in the app before you keep using TourSense. Smaller changes, like corrections or clarifications, take effect when this page updates.
